Push Too hard, Give too much, and I lost the map

Push Too hard, Give too much, and I lost the map

We strive for our best, we long to be the best, reach our full potential, and thus succeed.

We give everything we have to go where we want to go or give up on our dreams and focus on our perceived reality.

So what is the Reality?

Is it the desk in font of us? the paycheck we settle with every two weeks? or is it something more?

Hollywood has created movies depicting alternate realities or things where certain people can twist reality. The Matrix comes to mind automatically for me. The Matrix tells how life is not how it appears and is in fact a figment of our imagination.

So stop!

Think...

If life is not how it appears, but instead had a completely different set of rules, a completely different make up of forces, or "realities"... what would you do? where would you go? what would it look like?

Did you have a dream as a child of being a doctor? or a nurse? a veterinarian? maybe a firefighter? and what are you now? have you settled for something else? are you living your dream? is it still your dream?

what road are you traveling down? Have you pushed to hard? Have you given up too much? are you Lost?

Stop...

Think...

What if life were different?

...

Why can't life be different?

...

Back to the matrix... So life in the "World" was different from the real world, the world of truth. and yet in essence it was the same. You can be the same person in or out, you can make the same decisions in or out, you can be what you want to be in or out of the "world".

What did you gain from reaching the real world? well you lost your dream, you lost what you knew, you lost your innocence.

But what did you gain?

You gain a better understanding, you had a broader vision of the world as Truth that few could even comprehend, you also had a new plan, a new map, but did that mean the old directions wouldn't work?

In life we have a set goal, a set idea of where we want to go, what we want to do, what we want to accomplish. Many think they are unrealistic, many give up on themselves because they don't think they have time, or it would take a miracle. Well Miracles are possible and anything is possible if you have the right map.

Israel had the right map, they had the Torah, the book of the law, the map that would guide them to ruling the world under god's glorious name...

Or so they thought.

They had the right map, they had the right plan, the goal, the idea of where they wanted to go...

but they stopped, they got sidetracked, and they forgot. just like we do, just like we do with our goals in life, and just like we do with God.

We keep pushing to hard.

We keep giving too much.

We keep losing the map.

But God's still here, and he shows us that miracles are possible, and that sometimes reality is only the beginning of a greater reality hidden right under your noses.
